Michigan CPL/CCW Certification Course.

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. The course is a complete guide to understanding conflict-avoidance and situational awareness; home security and home defense; handgun, shotgun, and AR-15 basics; shooting fundamentals; the physiology of violent encounters; the legal aspects of using deadly force (including knowing what to do in the aftermath); and a complete guide on gear, gadgets, and ongoing training.

We currently offer a one-day course, and successful completion will allow you to apply for a Concealed Carry Permit (CCW). The course is 8 hours long, with 5 hours of in-class training and 3 hours of range time.

  • What to Know

    It is vital you educate yourself regarding state laws and ensure you are in full compliance. Please be sure to review the Michigan Compiled Laws (MCL) regarding gun regulations to minimize legal liability and risk, as well a the Michigan Concealed Carry Handgun Laws summary prior to the course.


  • Cancellation Policy

    Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of the class date. Classes canceled less than 48 hours before the class will not be reschedule.

    We are more than happy to accommodate you in a future class if it becomes apparent that you are not going to be able to attend the class you had originally signed up for.

    We understand that true emergencies happen – putting you in a position where you simply can not attend our class on your assigned date.

    All sales are final, and the Company does not offer any money-back guarantees. You recognize and agree that you shall not be entitled to a refund for any purchase under any circumstances.

  • Rescheduling Fee

    Please note that once you have booked a Class with us it means that we have reserved your seat in our schedule exclusively for you. If you cancel your Class less than 48 hours before it is scheduled to take place, you will be subject to a [penalty/fee/rebooking charge of $50.

    To avoid a cancellation fee, please provide cancellation notice at least 48 hours prior to your Class.

    If 48 Hours notice is given the student will be allowed a one time class reschedule date for future class, any additional reschedules you will be subject to a [penalty/fee/rebooking charge of $50. here
